Snow on the Farm

Some pictures of the "farm"  I took this morning 

with my new Nikon Coolpix camera.

 

Some pictures,  taken with my new camera, of some scarves I created from really fluffy yarn and my hands and arms. The yarn is Red Hart Boutique Doodle yarn.

 The white one is just a crochet chain, using just your hands no hooks or needles.  You can find the directions on you tube, 
 

 

The blue one was "knitted" on my arm, the pattern,   used 6 stiches, I only used 2.

 I couldn't find the yarn anywhere near home, but I ordered it online.  There were several places, just search for Red Hart Boutique Doodle yarn.  but some said that it has been discontinued.

The blue one used a whole skein.  I was able to get two scarves from the white.

Another Recipe

I get tired of cooking and eating the same old thing every week so I tried another recipe yesterday.

A Chicken and Rice Casserole with Bacon.  Sounds Yummy.

It was, Charlie even said it wasn't too bad, better than some of the other stuff we've tried.  The problem is, I don't like things that take too long to fix.  I want things I can throw together when I get home at 5:45 and have on the table by 6:15.  This recipe took too long.
You have to
Cook the chicken ( I hardly ever have any left over chicken).   
Fry the Bacon
Make a sauce
Cook the rice.
Combine it all and bake.

I guess if I want it again I will have to do it on a day off.
